As we approach the end of another year and look ahead to a new year, it is an opportune occasion to reflect on time. Time always seems like it has flown by too quickly when we’re looking back to reflect but when we look forward and when we’re going through it, there never seems to be enough time. And with the pandemic, it’s common to hear that time feels warped this past nearly 2 years. When we take a step back and look at time in the grand scheme of things, life is quick and fragile, and time is extremely precious and the older we get, the faster time seems to fly by.
On this dojo, Tony reflects on time; what are we doing with our time? How are we spending our time? Are we working on improving ourselves or are we constantly worried about other things that are outside of our control. He talks about the now being the most valuable point in time; living in the present. He asks you to think about how much you may be sacrificing by not being present- by not thinking and living in the now. What are we doing in our lives to make sure that we’re choosing the right here and right now, to do what we need to do.
